It was a sweltering day. Sweat poured down my face as I was shooting the wedding ceremony. Friends and family fanned themselves in an attempt to get some sort of relief from the heat. This little story is one reason why First Looks are so beneficial. Brittaney and David were smart and chose to have an intimate personal moment seeing each other for the first time prior to the ceremony. Not only did David get to tell Brittaney how beautiful she looked, they both got to benefit from a relaxed session of photographing them even though it was insanely hot outside. There blot breaks and “rest for a few minutes in the shade” breaks that never would’ve happened if we did the photos after the ceremony. Brittaney and David met while in college and the rest as they say is history! They’re a cute couple and I’m willing to guess that their kids will end up having blue eyes because both David and Brittaney have intensely blue eyes. Speaking of kids, I’m sure that’s the question they hear most these days…
